The 2022 Hyper weighs less and features a brand new lightweight TerTex material. Two times stronger than the Triplex triple ripstop and 40% lighter than the Dacron material used. TerTex is applied in strategic areas of the kite in order to save weight and maintain a rigid and durable frame.

Saving weight by using TerTex instead of Dacron for on the struts, wingtips of the canopy and canopy reinforcement over the central strut. This saving means the 2022 Hyper 12m weighs 3.7 kg instead of 4 kg on the 2021 model.

This lighter kite moves faster through the air, is easier to relaunch and turns quicker.  Low-end performance is increased which means a bigger wind range.  A redesigned bridle helps squeeze even more performance out of the kite and has reduced bar pressure giving a more fluent feel.
